Would you like to train as a helicopter pilot? Copterplus offers a one-of-a-kind pilot training program in Finland, conducted entirely at an international airport.
We provide helicopter license training for LAPL(H), PPL(H), and CPL(H). Our flight school is an approved training organization (ATO.FI.2024) that meets European standards. In Finland, these organizations are overseen by Traficom to ensure quality.
We are the only training provider in Finland that conducts the entire flight training at an international airport—Oulu Airport—giving trainees excellent proficiency in using air traffic services.
PPL(H) training includes 100 hours of theory. Candidates will take theory exams prepared by the flight school and, after completing the school’s final exams, must pass a theory exam administered by aviation authorities.
Before beginning flight lessons, aspiring pilots must undergo a medical examination for a medical certificate. We can provide more information on medical requirements.
Once the student has successfully completed the theoretical and practical portions of the training (45 flight hours), they will take a practical flight test. The PPL(H) flight test is conducted with a flight examiner authorized by the aviation authority.
