Our reindeer and wildlife flights support individual herding cooperatives and reindeer management areas with tasks such as population counts and herd management.
During reindeer flights, the helicopter’s movement and sound are used to gather and guide the animals into the corral as a herd. A local herder, who knows the area well, joins the flight and directs the pilot. These flights operate at low altitudes and therefore require a high level of attentiveness from the pilot.
